Private Sailing Experience

Learn by doing. Take the helm and experience hands-on sailing instruction with Captain Sam. Whether you are brand new to sailing or looking to sharpen you skills, every session is customized to your experience level and goals.

Rate is hourly and 1 hour minimum and 4 hour maximum with direct hands-on instruction available for the duration.

First Time Sailing Experience

Perfect for beginners! Have you ever seen a sailboat, large or small and thought… “Wow, I couldn’t do that” or maybe the opposite “I’d love to learn that”. This is for you! This 2-hour - “I do…You do” type session ends with you helming your first hands on sailing experience. And a CPT. Sam special surprise upon completion.

Sunset Sailing Experience

This 2-hour experience begins 60 mins before the scheduled sunset time for the date being requested to ensure ample preparations before you “sail off into the sunset” and take in the magnificent views of the Emerald Coast under sail.

Captain Sam's Coastal Cruises - Boat Rides

Even a sailor needs a day off — so Captain Sam trades his sails for some horsepower and invites you aboard. Join U.S. Coast Guard–licensed Captain Sam on a comfortable NauticStar 203DC for a private captained excursion along the Emerald Coast. Whether you’re searching for dolphins and the Mermaid Mailbox, hopping sandbars, or just soaking up sun and sea air, Captain Sam will customize the trip to suit your group.

Perfect for families, visitors, and anyone who wants to relax while Captain Sam handles the helm. Maximum 6 guests per trip. Two-hour excursions; back-to-back slots can be booked. With additional time always potentially available upon request. Life jackets provided for all ages. Please bring sunscreen, a towel, and any snacks or drinks you’d like. Ice Cold Water will be provided.
